Day 59: Haydn

It's Sunday, and we sight-read string quartets for fun at my house : a reunion of old friends from California who are all now living in Boston.

I must say that the most interesting Bird Today was from Joseph's Haydn's string quartet, subtitled "The Bird". Here's an excerpt. Do you hear the bird(s)?


Just to be fair to Mother Nature, though, here is the official outdoor Bird of the Day, a friendly and very chubby sparrow at the Arboretum. They are getting fatter and fatter!!
